WHATS ON!

Hundreds of commercial florists, floristry students and industry suppliers will be coming together at BFA FleurEx 2022 on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th October 2022. Everyone will be on the look-out for new products, innovative floral design ideas, new wholesale flower and suppliers. You’ll have the chance to meet up with florists and colleagues you haven’t seen for ages so make sure you’re one of them!

Entry to FleurEx 2022 will include FREE daily demonstrations by top national and international designers, Business pop in sessions and exhibitors across 4 floors. Much more than ever before!

We will also be holding our popular Masterclasses, competitions and will be on the look out for the next Eurofleurs competitor with a thrilling heats competition.

GALA DINNER & INDUSTRY AWARDS

On Saturday night, the scene is set for the sparkling annual Gala Dinner Dance and Industry Awards ceremony, celebrating the cream of the floral crop. 

Join us to find out who has won the coveted awards as they are crowned the best in their category as voted for by the industry. 

We also recognise the hard working level 4 and 5 students as they are presented with their certificates by the BFA Chairman. Dress up, wear your finest gala gown and join the Chairman at his drinks reception at 18.30hrs. 

This is followed at 19:00hrs by a 3 course meal with wine & coffee. The evening continues with presentations of all the various awards and concludes with a disco until the early hours. Rub shoulders with the biggest names in floristry, find out who’s won what in the BFA Industry Awards and shake your booty on the dance floor. 

EXHIBITORS

We’re not joking when we say we’ve booked the whole hotel. We have. There’s more exhibitors than ever before. The London suite will host a range of suppliers, services and wholesalers, while the Rotunda will be packed with flowers from across the industry. You’ll not know which one to look at first. All this is free to those that have bought an entry ticket.

DEMONSTRATIONS AND MASTERCLASSES

This is your chance to see the some of the best designers in Europe and the UK and to see 3 demonstrators is included in the general admission ticket price. Our demonstrators Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th will Ahti Lyra from Estonia, Carles Fontanillas from Spain and our own UK florist Sabine Darrall.

We’ll also have some new demonstrators with our debut designers taking to the floor for the first time.

Added to this is our masterclasses demonstrators. These 2 hour workshops are not to be missed and will be taken by Alex Segura from Spain and Frederic Dupre from France.

BUSINESS DROP INS ROOMS

This year we’ll be launching our ‘ BUSINESS DROP INS’. we have 2 rooms on the ground floor where you can join the conversation on numerous topics with a number of experts. They’ll have presentations, time for questions and answers and so much more for you to take away. These are free to everyone and all you need is your entry ticket.

COMPETITIONS

We’ve missed our competitions in the last few years but now they’re back. We;ll be holding the UK Eurofleurs competition on Saturday 15th and 4 competitions for those the experienced and non experienced competitors, including a special student schedule. Have a go, its the best experience ever when you win.

All the competitions will be judged by the UK Floristry Judges Guild.

2022 SHOW VENUE

The luxurious Jurys Inn, Hinckley, LE10 3JA is the host venue for BFA FleurEx 2022. As central to the UK transport networks as can be, the Jurys Inn is just 5 minutes’ drive from the M69 and 10 minutes away from the M1 and M6 motorways and just 5 minutes by taxi from Hinckley train station.  It offers everything for a weekend at BFA FleurEx: outstanding exhibition facilities, 300 rooms, 2 restaurants, 3 bars, a café, a heated indoor pool, fitness centre and spa.
