Helen has been in the floristry industry since 1994 when she began work in the family floristry business.

Helen became hooked on the colours, forms and shapes of flowers, and began developing her design skills as soon as she joined the business, deciding that if flowers were her future she would strive to perfect her skills to the best of her ability.

Being highly passionate about flowers and design Helen loves all aspects of her profession, and prides herself on creating bespoke designs with the highest quality flowers.

In 1997 Helen entered her first competition which was the Junior Teleflorist of the Year, where she was awarded 1^st runner up within the UK competition.

Helen also was awarded her teaching certificate in 1997 which enables her to pass on skills which she gained, to other florists within her region.

In 1999 Helen gained her Intermediate Certificate of the Society of Floristry and was awarded her National Diploma of the Society of Floristry in 2002

In 2006 Helen was invited to become an Ambassador for Smithers Oasis UK Ltd to design for the company and help to develop new products.
